Book Writing Systematics

The discussion in this book consists of eight chapters in a systematic order to make it easier for you to learn.

Chapter 1. GameMaker Studio. This chapter introduces the basic knowledge of programming using GameMaker Language which is very important as a programming language that is integrated into GameMaker Studio.

Chapter 2. Drag and Drop. This chapter discusses how easy it is to create games using drag and drop, without programming.

Chapter 3. GameMaker Language. This chapter discusses how easy it is to create games using the GameMaker Language programming.

Chapter 4. Maze Game. In this chapter, you will learn how to create games using GameMaker Studio. The game you make is a simple game that is a maze game. The object of the game is to move an object through the maze to reach the endpoint.

Chapter 5. Platformer Games. In this chapter, you will learn how to create a platform game which is a genre of video games and a subgenre of action games. In the platformer, the player controls a character who has to jump, climb and run on platform restrictions and must avoid obstacles.

Chapter 6. Math Games. You will learn how to make math games for elementary school students. This learning game is expected to improve students’ ability to learn mathematics, especially numbers.

Chapter 7. Fifteen Game. You will learn how to make a 15 Puzzle game. Fifteen puzzles is a sliding puzzle that has 15 tiles (square tiles) numbered 1–15 in a frame with a height of 4 tiles and a width of 4 tiles, leaving one empty tile.

Chapter 8. Jigsaw Puzzles. You will learn how to make a Jigsaw puzzle. A jigsaw puzzle is a game of disassembly in the form of arranging pieces of various shapes to form a complete picture.

Chapter 9. Memory Game. You will learn how to make a Memory game. A memory game is a card game in which all cards are face down, and two cards of the same suit are face down. The object of the game is to find matching pairs of cards.

Chapter 10. Quiz Game 1. You will learn how to make Game quizzes. A quiz is a form of game or mind sport in which players attempt to correctly answer questions about particular or various subjects. Players can look for help containing reference sources.

Chapter 11. Quiz Games 2. You will learn how to make Game quizzes by displaying random questions so that players cannot memorize them.

Chapter 12. Publish. This last chapter delivers how to publish the game on Android and HTML platforms.
